On the 14 of December 2012, the hall ways of PMTSSLC were shocked, as student from student the news of the shooting in Connecticut spread.
I realized that day that time does not stop for us, it does not slow down, even when these tragedies happen, we are meant to move on. But never forget.
One of the young victims of this tragedy, Emilie Parker, has been brought to her home state of Utah for her funeral. Her parents have asked the community to show their support and decorate our community with pink ribbons, their Emilie's favorite color, in honor of her.
On the 18 of December Our PMTSSLC students decorated our school to show our support. On the fallowing day, December 19 all PMTSSLC students had a 'dress-down- day' in which we all wore pink, and gave 3$. All money earned was given to Emilie's family for funeral costs, to show our love and support of them.
To all of the suffering families of the Connecticut shooting PMTSSLC students are thinking of you and remembering your losses. And will not forget you or you struggles.
